SOAFP - Part 5 Part 5 – When the smoke clears

"Hey man, ya all right?"

A heavily accented female voice disturbed the darkness that currently was the private world of Lance P. Sullivan, time traveler, freedom fighter and currently…in a whole lot of pain!

Slowly he opened his eyes, whic turned out to be a very bad move as the mere glimpse of light triggered another painful explosion in his head. He quickly shut them again and groaned when his whole body ached with pain.

"Whoa man, you're alive! Here, lemme give ya a hand!"

Lance felt a pair of soft hands grapping his as they pulled him to his feet with a surprising show of strength. However, as

The surprising re-appearing of the brown-haired and very angry girl immediately caused the Ninja to turn towards her. It looked like he made a few quick calculations and reached to the conclusion that his chances of survival were pretty small, especially taking into consideration that she had just single-handedly defeated two of his comrades and now looked pretty pissed too! Quickly he broke off from the wrestling over the mindwiper and with a quick thrust he showed the unbalanced Jason Chesterfield over the edge of the jet.

"Jason!!" the brown-haired girl screamed, panic in her voice. With a cry of rage she jumped

Two new drawings in the same year? What's going on? :o

As Joff of Life & Death was nearing his #1000th strip, it was time to send one of my patented "Fanthreats"... those strips with round numbers tend to include too many cameos, making too much work for me, so a little "encouragement" to the artist might be in order ;-)
... and it worked! He has yet to produce any new stips since this one arrived! :p

I Believe I got a bit better grasp on some of the technics with this one, slowly learning where to focus and avoiding any excessive details... still got a lot to learn though.

One of these days I will give shading a try... and I GOT to get a general scannig procedure down, the quailty of this one wasn't at its best.
